Terms of Use

Last updated: 8 February 2026

Important: Grantscreen does not provide financial, legal, or investment advice. All analysis is generated by artificial intelligence for informational purposes only. You should not rely on Grantscreen output as a substitute for professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Grantscreen (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Grantscreen is a web-based tool that helps users analyse charity financial statements using artificial intelligence. Users can upload PDF documents, receive AI-generated financial analysis, and ask questions about the data.

3. Not Financial Advice

Grantscreen is not a financial advisory service. The analysis, commentary, ratios, red flags, and all other outputs provided by the Service are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended for informational and educational purposes only.

Grantscreen output:

  • Does not constitute financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice
  • Does not replace the judgement of a qualified accountant, auditor, financial adviser, or other professional
  • Should not be used as the sole basis for any financial, grant-making, investment, or governance decision
  • May contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions due to the nature of AI-based analysis and document extraction

You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information obtained through Grantscreen. We strongly recommend that you verify all analysis against the original source documents and seek professional advice where appropriate.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload documents you do not have the right to process
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service
  • Misrepresent AI-generated analysis as professional financial advice
  • Share your account credentials with third parties

6. Paid Subscriptions & No-Refund Policy

Pro Subscription

The Pro plan is billed annually. You may cancel renewal at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, you retain full Pro access until the end of your current billing period — you simply will not be charged again. There is no pro-rating and no partial refunds for unused time.

One-Off Access

The One-Off plan provides 7-day access to all Pro features for a single payment of £99. This is designed as a “try before you subscribe” option so you can evaluate the full Pro experience before committing to an annual plan. If you upgrade to Pro within 7 days, the £99 is applied as a discount on your annual subscription.

No Refunds

All sales are final. Grantscreen does not offer refunds for any paid plan, including the Pro annual subscription and the One-Off access pass.

We believe this is fair because:

  • The Free tier lets you evaluate the core analysis features at no cost before paying anything
  • The One-Off pass (£99) gives you full Pro access for 7 days, so you can try the complete experience before committing to an annual subscription
  • If you subscribe to Pro and later cancel, you keep access for the rest of your paid year — your subscription simply does not renew

By purchasing any paid plan, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Grantscreen website, branding, code, and design are the property of Grantscreen. You retain ownership of any documents you upload. AI-generated analysis reports are provided for your personal or professional use but may not be resold as a standalone service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grantscreen and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

This includes, without limitation, damages arising from:

  • Reliance on AI-generated analysis or commentary
  • Errors or inaccuracies in document extraction or analysis
  • Decisions made based on information provided by the Service
  • Service interruptions, data loss, or security breaches

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • AI-generated analysis will be accurate, complete, or current
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
